Le territoire Sèvre & Loire a un lien particulier avec l’eau

En effet, il est bordé par la Loire au Nord, et la Sèvre au Sud. Deux autres rivières traversent le territoire : la Sanguèze et la Divatte.

La Divatte prend sa source au Puiset-Doré, dans le département de Maine-et-Loire, en amont de la commune de La Boissière-du-Doré. D’une trentaine de kilomètres, elle dévoile quelques châteaux et vieux moulins à eau situés à proximité.

Elle coule dans un relief de coteaux, vallons boisés et petites prairies, de quoi découvrir des milieux de verdure naturelle !

Ce petit affluent, est situé en rive gauche de la Loire. Il donne d’ailleurs son nom à la levée de la Divatte qui contient la Loire au bord de la vallée maraîchère et la protège des inondations.
